Dr. Lori J. Vaden

Dr. Lori Vaden is the Owner and President of GV Strategic Consulting. 

Thank you very much for inquiring about GV Strategic Consulting. I have worked in Higher Education for more than 20 years and I provide consultation and instruction to higher education professionals.  I am dedicated to providing customized solutions that best fit the needs and goals of your institution. 

My professional experience includes working in the NC Community College System and the University of NC  in the areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Veteran’s Affairs, Academic Advising, Military Education, Student Conduct, Academic Support Services, Enrollment Management, and Student Testing and Assessment. Additionally, I instruct faculty and staff on many topics such as Customer Service in Higher Education, FERPA Training, E-Learning Guidance-Transitioning to Remote Course Delivery, and Co-Curricular Learning and Assessment. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University, a Master’s degree in English-Technical and Professional Communication from East Carolina University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Martin’s College.
